In the heart of 2011, Bruce Morris founded Burns Moving And Storage with one truck, a small team, and a simple mission: help people move with less stress. There were no big investments or fancy offices — just dedication, hard work, and a genuine desire to serve communities in need of dependable moving help.

Key Milestones

2000–2005: In 2011, Burns Moving And Storage served only local clients. The founder managed bookings, driving, and lifting. Services included basic apartment and house moves. Clear pricing and punctuality set the foundation.
2006–2010: By 2006, a second truck was added. In 2007, item insurance became standard. In 2009, packing and unpacking services were introduced. In 2010, we expanded to neighboring towns.
2011–2015: In 2011, Burns Moving And Storage added short-term storage. Office and retail moves became frequent. By 2013, cross-town and small interstate jobs became regular. In 2015, we launched online booking to reduce delays.
2016–2020: Starting in 2016, we trained staff for piano moving, large furniture, and sensitive equipment. The fleet was updated for urban jobs and long distances. In 2020, contactless moving was introduced due to health protocols.
2021–2024: Between 2021 and 2024, we expanded to long-distance services, added flexible last-minute moving options, and introduced senior and student packages. New tools reduced idle time and improved tracking. By 2024, Burns Moving And Storage completed over 15,000 moves across residential, commercial, and specialty requests.
